This retreat invites you to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, exploring the interplay between shadows and light in both the external world of nature and the internal landscape of your body and mind. Through yoga, meditation, and connections with nature, you will learn to embrace and integrate all aspects of yourself, finding balance and harmony amidst life’s contrasts.
The retreat will be held at the serene Elohee retreat center atop Bald Mountain with hiking trails, a natural waterfall, and reflection pond. The venue provides a secluded and peaceful environment conducive to introspection and connection with nature.

5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Welcoming Yin and Yang yoga Class
Kick off your journey at the “Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light” retreat with our special Yin and Yang yoga class. This session is designed to balance and harmonize your energy, setting the perfect tone for the transformative days ahead.
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Dinner
7:00 pm – 8:15 pm Community Welcome & Fun
8:30 pm – 9:45 pm Yin yoga
Turning Inward: End your day with Yin yoga to ground yourself and turn inward. This slow, meditative practice focuses on deep, passive stretches that release tension and enhance flexibility.

Yoga Session
Flow yoga class that blends movement, breath, and pauses to sense into the pose. This session is designed to stimulate introspection and self-awareness. Balance and Ground.
Meditation Session
A meditation session focused on meeting yourself with kindness and care. This practice will guide you in exploring the balance of shadows and light within, fostering self-compassion and inner peace.
Nature Connection
Scavenger Hunt focusing on the play of light and shadow in our natural world. Dive into the beauty of nature with our engaging and fun-filled Nature Scavenger Hunt. This connection is designed to help you connect with the natural world while reflecting on the retreat’s theme of exploring shadows and light.

Yoga Session
Yoga session designed to help you illuminate your inner light. This class focuses on uplifting and accessible empowering practices that celebrate the light within you.
Meditation Session
Meditation session focused on embracing and radiating your inner light. This class will guide you through practices that help you connect with your inner radiance, fostering a sense of peace, joy, and empowerment.
Nature Activity
Capture your reflections and insights inspired by nature in a journal. Write about moments that resonate with your inner light and connection to the natural world. Creative expression (drawing or writing) to represent your inner light.

8:30 pm – 9:45 pm Restorative yoga and Sound Bath
A deeply nourishing and transformative evening session at the “Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light” retreat. This combination of restorative yoga and a sound bath is designed to promote relaxation, inner healing, and a harmonious balance of

Yoga Session
A special closing session at the “Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light” retreat, where we integrate the dualities of shadows and light through the practice of Yin and Yang yoga. This class is designed to balance, harmonize, and reflect on our journey together.
Meditation Session
Our final meditation session at the “Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light” retreat, where we will integrate our experiences and cultivate gratitude for the journey of exploring shadows and embracing light.
Nature Activity
Bring your collected nature items that symbolize both darkness and light (stones, leaves etc.) as we create a collaborative nature mandala representing integration–Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light.
11:30 am – 12:00 pm Closing Circle
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Lunch together and Thank you for an amazing retreat together Dancing with Shadows and Shining with Light.
