Elohee's Registration and Cancellation Policy

There are seasons that ask us to grow.

And there are seasons that quietly invite us home.

Winter has long been misunderstood as a season to endure. Yet in nature,  it is a season of quiet wisdom. The forests do not rush to bloom. The trees  do not resist their rest. Beneath the surface, roots deepen, life gathers,  and renewal begins long before it can be seen.

Perhaps we are not so different.

Winter reminds us that not every season asks us to bloom.

Join us for an intimate winter retreat at Elohee Retreat Center, where the  beauty and stillness of the season become companions on a journey of  presence, renewal, and quiet discovery. Through yoga, meditation, time in  nature, nourishing meals, shared laughter, gathering around the fire, and  spacious moments simply to be, together we’ll experience winter not as  something to move through, but as a quiet companion—gently inviting us  to listen more deeply, receive more fully, and remember what has been  here all along.

Surrounded by the North Georgia mountains and a welcoming community,  we’ll discover the quiet wisdom this season offers each of us: strength in  stillness, warmth in community, and renewal through receiving.

Come exactly as you are, and let winter do what it has quietly done for  generations—invite you to slow down, listen deeply, and return home to  yourself.

Friday | Arriving

Your retreat begins as you wind through the North Georgia mountains and  arrive at Elohee.

Take a deep breath. Settle into your room. Wander the peaceful grounds.  Sip a warm cup of tea. Allow yourself to exhale as the beauty and quiet of  the forest begin to welcome you.

After a shared dinner, we’ll gather for our first evening together with gentle  yoga, meditation, and a restorative Sound Journey, allowing the week to  melt away as we settle into the slower rhythm of the weekend.

Saturday | Listening to the Season of Winter

Wake to the quiet beauty of the mountains and enjoy a nourishing  breakfast before gathering for Morning Stillness.

As the day unfolds, we’ll move through thoughtfully guided yoga,  experiences in nature, personal reflection, and moments of quiet that invite  us to notice more deeply. There will be time to journal, wander the trails,  curl up with a book, enjoy a cup of tea, or simply sit in stillness and take in  the winter landscape.

As evening falls, we’ll soften through a nourishing Yin and Myofascial  Release practice before gathering around the fire for warmth, reflection,  and connection. Together we’ll share a simple ceremony of release and  intention, then linger in conversation, comfortable silence, and the quiet  joy of simply being together.

Sunday | Returning with Winter’s Wisdom

Our final morning offers time to pause, reflect, and gently integrate the experiences of the weekend through meditation, yoga, and our closing circle. Together we’ll honor what has unfolded, celebrate the community we’ve created, and prepare to return home with greater presence, clarity, and connection.

We’ll share one final meal before departing, trusting that the quiet wisdom of winter will continue to unfold long after the retreat has ended.

Throughout the Weekend

  • Gentle, thoughtfully guided yoga
  • Daily meditation practice
  • A deeply restorative Sound Journey
  • Quiet moments in nature
  • Reflection and journaling
  • Shared meals and gathering around the fire
  • Plenty of time to rest, explore, and simply be
  • An intimate retreat experience

Above all, this weekend is an invitation to slow down. To be nourished by  nature. To enjoy the warmth of community

And to let the quiet wisdom of winter gently renew your spirit.
