Rest & Relaxation Weekend ~ Forest Therapy

This spring, we’re excited to offer a one-of-a-kind Forest Therapy Rest & Relaxation Weekend at Elohee.

Forest Therapy, also known as shinrin yoku or “forest bathing,” is a guided practice of slowing down, exploring the five senses, and reconnecting with nature. Participants are invited to walk mindfully among the trees, breathe deeply, and open themselves to the healing presence of the forest. This practice reduces stress, restores balance, and fosters spiritual awakening through gentle immersion in the natural world.
As part of the experience, students will participate in discussions and have the opportunity to create a nature mandala using leaves, flowers, and other gifts of the forest, expressing creativity and inner reflection. The session concludes with a tea ceremony, bringing all five senses together honoring gratitude and mindfulness.
