Who: Mental Health Professionals
What: A ‘Therapist Only’ Retreat sponsored by Cultivated Mental Health
When: September 20 – 22 2024
Why: To Downshift our busy lives for a couple of days
How: Connect in the North Georgia Mountains at Elohee Retreat Center

Retreat Mission: Our mission is to gather mental health professionals to Rest & Re-center.

As one of your peers, we understand at Cultivated Mental Health that this looks different for everyone and we are delighted to be able to provide a space that will provide you autonomous space to rest, creative space to play, quiet space to read and write, trauma-informed space to release muscle tension with the openness of yoga, the natural backdrop to explore through walks or hikes, and the peer group to welcome new connections and laughter.

As a special highlight of this particular retreat, we will take some time to welcome the Fall Equinox and the first day of autumn, which arrives on the final morning September 22, 2024 at 8:44am.

Retreats are meant to be just that, a moment to step aside from the daily grind, to be intentional about listening to yourself, your needs, your wants and this can look like spending quiet moments on your own or taking part in some or all or none of the activities that we provide for this intentional weekend. This is YOUR TIME.

We seek to gather Mental Health Professionals to take intentional time to:
1) Downshift the hyperdrive of your lives
2) Provide an autonomous space to rest
3) Explore creative spaces to play
4) Breathe in quiet space to read and/or write
5) Embrace a trauma-informed space to release muscle tension with the openness of yoga
6) Dive into nature with walks or hikes with a re-centering focus in mind
7) Connect with your professional peer group to welcome new connections and laughter
