Respite for Mothers of Anxious Youth: A Weekend of Yoga, Connection, Support and Peace

“A mother is only as happy as her unhappiest child.”  There is so much truth in this saying.  If you have an adolescent or teen grappling with debilitating anxiety and depression you know this first hand.  Whether your child is refusing to go to school, seemingly addicted to the internet and social media, or completely isolating themselves from friends and family, you are likely feeling fear, frustration and isolation yourself.

Carolyn and Kristin have been where you are. They’ve come together as two passionate mothers to offer other mothers the opportunity for self-care, comfort and support that they’ve found and relied upon.  Their most important message – You are not alone!!

We invite you to come to the Elohee Retreat Center in the mountains of north Georgia. During this weekend together we will begin each day with a centering of basic yoga that will allow us to rest our minds. Once we are grounded and present we will share experiences and draw support from one another to help us all move forward. There will be time for quiet reflection, much-needed rest, hikes, and massage. We’ll enjoy delicious, nutritious food and the peace offered by this beautiful setting.  The weekend is sure to be filled with community, connection, authenticity, guidance, and laughter. Won’t you join us?
