What is freedom? What is love? Join me for a weekend away from the busyness of life to sit, walk slowly, connect with nature and to explore these questions through your lived experience. Through the power of silent and guided meditation, yoga, and time in nature, we will journey inward to discover the power of the heart and mind to transform our lives. Through the practices of mindfulness, compassion, and forgiveness we will discover our innate capacity to heal our hearts and open our minds to the life that is here.

The day will consist of sitting meditation, walking meditation, yoga and free time for wandering the beautiful mountains of North Georgia and the trails of Elohee. There will also be times for meeting with the teacher. In the evenings there will be talks related to the topic of living mindfully and compassionately. This retreat is rooted in mindfulness, neuroscience, Buddhist psychology and ethical principles. Meals are vegetarian and there is no alcohol during this retreat.

**Please note that the retreat is held in noble silence. There are 2-3 hours of silent meditation practice in the morning and 2-3 hours of silent meditation in the afternoon.

Recognizing that everyone has different financial ability, tuition is on a sliding scale that allows participants to pay according to individual means. Please pay at the highest level possible for you, as this allows others with less financial means to participate in greater numbers.  Sustaining tuition is $300; mid tuition is $200; and base tuition is $100.  At checkout, you will be asked for a discount code.  For sustaining tuition, no discount code is required.  For mid and base tuition, please enter the code mid200 or base100, respectively.

This retreat is for both beginners and long term mindfulness practitioners. For questions please contact Stephanie Swann at stephanie@atlantamindfulness.com or 404.906.1862.
