Nurses are cultivated and trained to show compassion and empathy for others, often called angels on earth.  However, what happens when nurses do not allow that same level of compassion and empathy to flow to their own self-being? Come and break away from your hectic schedules to a divine weekend retreat and discover a quiet space at Elohee to get inspired, reflect, meditate, connect and be mindful of the beauty of being present. We will teach you guided chakra meditations, hatha yoga, provide presentations, a guided hike and host a fire ceremony, all with plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful grounds of Elohee that hosts a spectacular view of neighboring Mount Yona. This retreat is for nurses experiencing the ever too common nurse burnout, also known as compassion fatigue, and are unable to find balance. This retreat is also for the nurse or student nurse who just needs a peaceful break away to learn more about yourself, reflect on where you have been, where you are now and where you want to go in your professional and personal life.  Each participant will receive a gift and workbook to take home to remind you of your experience and to help you continue to practice what you have learned.
