
Susan Reviere
Susan Reviere, PhD, is a mindfulness meditation teacher and a clinical psychologist practicing mindfulness-based psychotherapy. She is one of the founding teachers of Atlanta Insight Meditation Community where she teaches regularly. She has studied Buddhism and mindfulness/meditation practices for more than 30 years. She has served as a mentor with the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, facilitated IMCW’s first online dharma group, and still consults with new facilitators as needed. She has served as a mentor for many of Tara Brach’s online mindfulness courses as well as for Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield’s Power of Awareness course. She graduated from the 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and later served on the mentor faculty training future teachers. Susan loves the Brahma Viharas and holds deep interest in the sacred feminine and devotional practice. Her passions are family, dharma study, hiking, mountains, and music; and her commitments are open-heartedness, gratitude, environmental and social justice, and embodied spirituality. She finds joy in sharing these transformative teachings and hopes to transmit her love of the Dharma to others on this path.
