Mindful Life Retreat *Now Three Nights!*

What to Expect: To help deepen your retreat experience, Elohee does not provide televisions or internet access (unless you bring your own hotspot). Cell phone service is excellent for AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Your car will be left in a secured parking lot, and you will be shuttled up to your room upon arrival and shuttled back down to your car at departure. Shuttle service to your car is available at any time. All facilities at the top of the mountain are within a 5 minute walk of each other, with some gravel roads. 2 cottage rooms are ADA compliant, and all cottage rooms are on ground level.

  • 1-Single Occupancy/1 King Bed/Private Bath – $1,506.00
  • 1-Double Occupancy/1 King Bed/Private Bath (Price is per person, must register separately) – $1,213.00
  • 1-Double Occupancy/2 Twin Beds/Private Bath (Price is per person, must register separately) – $1,213.00

Price includes the course fee, room, meals, and grounds fee but does not include taxes. Full price is shown upon selection of room type prior to registering. A 40% deposit is due at the time of registration with full payment due 2 weeks prior to the retreat start date. From the beginner to those experienced in mindfulness, all will walk away rejuvenated and imbued with the powerful knowledge of how to use mindfulness and related skills to be more calm, focused, and joyful at work and at play. If you have felt the effects of stress and/or anxiety in your life lately, this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to feel better and boost your resiliency going forward!

Surrounded by nature and the profound serenity that Elohee provides, you will have ample opportunity to process your transformation. With sessions specifically focused on how to apply these practical skills in daily life, you will feel confident in your ability to begin using your new skills to reduce stress and be at your best.

***Every activity is completely optional. All participants should feel free to make their retreat experience what they would like***

Included in the retreat:

  • Multiple learning sessions each day with Amanda, including guided relaxation and visualization exercises.
  • Plenty of free time to soak up the relaxing and transformative qualities of Elohee’s grounds and facilities.
  • Enriching discussions on how to apply mindfulness and related skills in real life.
  • Optional Massage/ Spa services *not included in program fee*.
  • Optional yoga classes on Friday and Sunday.
  • Healthy, chef-prepared meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, accommodating a variety of diets including vegetarian, vegan, omnivore, and pescatarian.  Gluten free options are available as well.
  • Guided nature walk through Elohee’s diverse ecosystems featuring a 100ft mountainside waterfall.

Thursday

  • 3:00-4:00pm- Check in with Elohee staff
  • 5:00-6:00- Welcome/ Intro to Awareness(Location-Mandala Hall)
  • 6:00-7:00- Dinner
  • 7:00-8:30pm- Mindfulness for Relaxation- including mindfulness exercise for better sleep

Friday

  • 8:00-9:00am- Breakfast
  • 9:00-9:30- Breathing Techniques for improved focus including 10-minute Breathing Meditation
  • 9:30-10:30- Formal vs. Informal Mindfulness. How to incorporate both into your day.
  • 10:45-12:00- Restorative Yoga with Charlene Hammerson
  • 12:00-1:00- Lunch
  • 1:00- 3:00 Break Time for optional massage and spa appointments, naps, etc.
  • 3:00-5:00- Staying focused using mindfulness in everyday life- navigating schedules, responsibilities, relationships, etc with more energy and ease **includes 15-minute break**
  • 6:00-7:00- Dinner
  • 7:00-8:00- Mindfulness for Peace and Contentment

Saturday

  • 8:00-9:00- Breakfast
  • 9:00-9:15- Morning meditation
  • 9:15-10:30- Putting it all Together/ Guided exercise to help with integration of what you have learned so far
  • 10:45-12:00- Guided Nature Walk
  • 12:00-1:00- Lunch
  • 1:00- 3pm- Break Time for optional massage and spa appointments, naps, etc.
  • 3:00-5:00- Mindful Communication and Boundaries in Relationships *Includes 15-minute break*
  • 6:00-7:00- Dinner
  • 7:00-8:30- Bonfire- Community and Discussion Time

Sunday 

  • 8:00-9:00- Breakfast
  • 9:00-9:15- Morning meditation
  • 9:15-10:00- Closing session with final notes from Amanda and encouragements for going forward
  • 10:00-11:00- Time for packing up to leave
  • 11:00-12:00- Hatha Yoga with Charlene Hammerson
  • 12:00-1:00- Lunch and Goodbyes
