Join Karen Luckman and Karen Martin at the beautiful Elohee Retreat Center as we celebrate the beginning of summer! The June solstice is a time of abundance, and the jumping off point for a whole new season of life. Take time to disconnect from everyday routines and to reconnect with yourself as we gather for a weekend of great food, mindful movement, relaxation, and self care.

Your weekend will be held in the stunning Mandala Hall overlooking forest and valley and will include a range of yoga classes designed to release tension, improve alignment and promote postural strength. We will explore the science behind pranayama and mindfulness with “Peace of Mind”, a breath and mindset workshop. You are also invited to enjoy the resonant tones of a sound bath for deep relaxation, and gather at the fire pit for our last night together.

In your free time, connect with nature while exploring miles of hiking trails. Discover the 100ft cascading waterfall, relax by the pond, unwind in the hammock or find community in the Mandala Hall through journaling and creative activities. For an informal group conversation on mindfulness and (beginner friendly) meditation, please join us for an optional book club discussion of: The Joy of Living.

A 24 hour tea house will also be available for connecting with your fellow travelers or taking time for quiet reflection during your stay on the mountain. Optional massage and Reiki treatments are available through the Elohee Spa, but reserve your spot early as spa treatments fill up fast.

Let this weekend be as active or as restful as you need it to be. Take a moment to find focus, and reflect on the road that has brought you to this point in your life. Let the light within you shine like a midsummer day, and then turn your gaze forward as you move with joy and purpose toward your next chapter.

All classes are appropriate for beginners as well as more seasoned yogis. Please feel free to reach out to your hosts (Karen Martin and Karen Luckman) with any questions. We look forward to taking this journey with you!
